The Pavilion desktop personal computers from HP have new designs and new technology. HP has introduced new desktop towers with the Pavilion, Slimline and Pavilion Elite, reports CNET.
The new designs feature a “glossy, black front panel layered over a metallic base” as well as “sliding front panels” that hide the computer’s ports and drives, the company said.
Some models have a valet tray “integrated into the top of the PC and equipped with USB ports for easy access and charging of smartphones, digital cameras and MP3 players,” according to a company statement.
“Consumers demand the best of both worlds from their desktop PCs – performance and expandability with a design that fits them and their environment,” Randall Martin, chief design strategist, Desktop PCs, Personal Systems Group, HP, explains in a company statement carried on TMCnet. “HP’s new Pavilion PCs offer intuitive features and enhanced aesthetics, bridging the gap that sometimes exists between form and function.”
In addition, the HP Pavilion desktop PCs give processors and graphics extra power. The computers also offer Beats Audio, which is a higher-performing audio technology. Another feature, HP LinkUp, lets users access content from their notebook PCs on an HP Pavilion desktop PC, HP said.
Also, the HP Pavilion P7 series PCs provide hard drive space for photos, music and video. The HP Pavilion Slimline s5 performance series PCs are half the size of standard towers. The HP HPE h8 series PCs are the most powerful Pavilion PCs to date, the company adds. Some of the models have as many as three internal hard drives, AMD (News - Alert) Phenom or Intel Core i7 processors, and high-end NVIDIA or ATI graphics.
