Windows Vista, medical billing classes available at adult education

INTRODUCTION AND WINDOWS VISTA CLASS-We will be offering an introduction and Windows Vista class from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 5-6. The cost for this 12-hour class is $56. Call (772) 564-4970 or visit our Web site to register.

MEDICAL BILLING AND COLLECTIONS PROGRAM-We are pleased to offer a fast-paced program in Medical Billing and Collections. Students will learn the skills necessary to become successful in these two areas of the medical field. Students will attend class from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Class begins Jan. 14 and runs through March 30, the cost is $424 and students may register now at the Adult Education officeA Medical Coding class will also be offered in January.

COMPUTER GREETING CARD CLASS-If you are interested in adding a personal touch to your holiday greeting cards this season, or if you would like to make your own stationery, please join us for a Computer Greeting Card class. This class will be offered from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 12 and the cost is $32.

DECEMBER COMPUTER CLASSES-Adult Education will offer a variety of computer classes that includes Introduction, Windows Vista, Intermediate Excel, Intermediate QuickBooks with Payroll, Access, EBay, Digital Camera, Publisher and others. Some classes begin this week; interested persons can call (772) 564-4970.

COOKING CLASSES-Adult Education will offer a variety of fun and tasty cooking classes. A six-hour Holiday Appetizers class will be held from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 1 and Dec. 8. In this class students will learn to prepare: smoked salmon and cucumber canap'&eacutes; smoked chicken and cranberry cream cheese canap'&eacutes; white bean, tomato and black olive bruschetta; sliced petite steak on herb toast with horseradish sauce; and more. Other classes include Dinner to Go and Kid's Night Out; Cooking with Mom or Dad; Holiday Feast; and Fresh Seafood. For more information, call (772) 564-4970.

Adult Education, a division of the Indian River County School District, is at 1426 19th St., downtown Vero Beach.
